Volunteer Opportunities with Team Mesa Adaptive Programs and Events for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.

The Team Mesa Bulldogs rely heavily on volunteer support to make the programs successful. There are several different ways to get involved as a volunteer:

  • Unified Partners: In Unified Sports®, teams are made up of people of similar age and ability, which makes practices more fun and games more challenging and exciting for all. Having sport in common is just one more way that preconceptions and false ideas are swept away.

  • Volunteer Coach: Becoming a coach is easy! You don’t need prior experience – we provide the necessary training and resources. All you need is a compassionate nature, a desire to help others, and a lot of enthusiasm.

  • Event volunteers: Day-of event assistance includes a wide array of involvement, such as registration, scorekeeping, timing, staging of the athletes, and awards. Shift times are approximately 4 hours in length for events that run 1-3 days.
