FREE Adaptive Sports Clinics

During the 2025 Desert Challenge Games In Partnership With The Hartford, Arizona Disabled Sports will showcase adaptive sports that aren’t offered as competition. These free clinics are meant to introduce new athletes to these adaptive sports, review rules and other aspects specific to adaptive elements involved, and provide the opportunity for participants to actively participate.

Full Circle Movement

Join AzDS & Ottobock, on Thursday May 29th from 6 - 9 P.M., at ASU’s Joe Selleh Track for a Full Circle Movement Mobility Clinic aimed to improve athletes balance, movement, and confidence with experience prostheses, physical therapists, and coaches. Free and open to all ages and mobility levels, registration is required. Register here!

Para Fencing Clinic

Join AzDS and German Fencing Academy for a free para fencing clinic, on Wednesday May 28th, 11:00am - 1:00pm, for a free Para Fencing Clinic in the DoubleTree Mesa hotel.  German Fencing Academy is a USA Fencing accredited and insured club, which means all of their instructors went through a rigorous certification process. German Fencing Academy will provide all equipment and coaches. They just need you!

Seated Throw Analysis

Want to take your throwing to the next level? You are invited to participate in power stations with video analysis of your trunk and arms during throws. Activities will include medicine ball throws for distance, dynamometer test for grip and pulling strength, and analysis of technique with indoor implements from a throwing frame. Athletes are encouraged to bring their personal throwing frames and invite coaches. Athletes will get access to slow-motion videos collected and receive a short performance report by email.
